Overview

Price reduction on 9/9/11 down to $13,900!!  Bring offers.  Widow needs to sell now. Morgan 35 k/cb sloop with many upgrades, but in need of TLC. This Morgan 35 keel/centerboard was partially submerged about one foot over the cabin sole. The owner passed away as the vessel was being refitted by the Hinckley Yacht Services Company. About $26,000 has been invested into the boat in cooperation with the insurance company. An all new electricial system, charger, inverter, wiring, engine control panel and gauges , fuel lines, and more have been installed. New stainless steel, electric windlass was also installed. Additionally, the owner installed large stainless steel opening ports in the cabin. The Westerbeke diesel has been serviced, and a new alternator was mounted.

Next owner will need time or budget to restore the interior, and general clean up of the Morgan. Boat is being sold "As is, where is" by the late owner's wife. A recent insurance survey and receipts from Hinckley Yacht Services are available for viewing for serious buyers. Buyer should be prepared to invest time and sweat equity to restore this yacht with items such as painting, varnishing, cleaning, and washing.

The Morgan 35 keel/centerboard is a good design for the Chesapeake Bay and other shoal waters. She would also make a nice liveaboard boat for an individual on a limited budget, and with skills to restore "Easy Go" to shipshape condition. She has roller furling genoa, and sails. The centerboard was rebuilt, and the pennant replaced by The Hinckley Company. New cutlass bearing installed, too, as well as a new stainless hot water heater.

Also included is a large inventory of spare parts, tools, dive gear, and gear which is stored in the loft at Whitehall Yacht Yard. There is lots of value in all of this gear, tools and spare parts. All of this gear conveys.

"Easy Go" has a Westerbeke 50 (37 h.p.)with new fuel lines, and new alternator. The engine needs some paint. The engine overheated recently, but that may have been as simple an air lock in the new hot water heater heat exchanger.

Here is an opportunity to purchase a nice boat for less than the cost of the new gear installed in the past months. Asking price is $14,400. Bring offers.

Accommodations
Boat interior will need a complete cleaning and refinishing. There is mildew on the bulkheads and teak and holly sole. Most of what needs to be done now is cosmetic in nature such as painting, sanding, varnishing, and refinishing. With over $20,000 in upgrades to the electrical system, wiring, systems, plumbing, centerboard, centerboard pennant, new fuel lines, new alternator, cutlass bearing, and windlass, the more expensive items have been done. The new owner will have lots to do, but Home Depot-type items and supplies will contribute to a nice 35-foot sailing yacht on a small budget.
