The Bristol 45.5 is a great passagemaker. The shoal draft of 4'11" is perfect for the Bay, the Bahamas, etc.   And her 62-foot bridge clearance makes her ICW friendly.   The in-mast furling allows the 45.5 to be easily handled by a couple.  And the quality New England construction, solid fiberglass hull, and internal ballast has advantages over cored hulls and bolt-on keels.  "Night Music" is a great sailing yacht, offered at a fraction of her replacement cost.

Accommodations

Accommodations aboard Night Music are wonderful. The photographs can not do justice to all that has been done and the Honduran Mahogany interior woodwork. This two sleeping cabin yacht has two heads and showers, a wonderful salon and galley, and a great navigation station and chart table. The cloths dryer and spinner are located in the companionway, leading to the aft stateroom.

The forward stateroom has large V-berths and a filler to convert it into a large double bed. The cushions are new closed cell foam covered with premium fabric. The filler stores over head when not in use. There is a seat between the V-berths, and there is lots of storage aboard a Bristol Yacht. The owner has neatly fabricated additional sail storage over the V-berths. The yacht is completely air conditioned and there are new opening ports and hatches with screens. Head room is good throughout the yacht, including this stateroom. The guest head and shower may be entered from this stateroom and from the companionway leading to the salon. Large hanging lockers are across from the guest head.

The salon is mid-ship and very accommodating with port and starboard settees that convert into additional sleeping berths when required. Night Music sleeps a total of seven (7) people in comfort. The cushions are covered in a tapestry style material that looks great, as noted by the photos. The centerline dining table has two drop leafs, and storage for silverware and bottles inside. The L-shaped port settee and the straight starboard settee provide seating for dining. There is lots of storage below, behind, and above the settees. The cabin sole is of teak and holly and highly varnished. The yacht is air conditioned throughout and light & ventilation is well provided for via new Hood opening ports and Bomar hatches with screens. Louvered doors add to the beauty and locker ventilation.

The galley is in the aft, starboard corner of the salon. The companionway leading to the aft stateroom is to port, as well as the navigation station, electrical panel, and access to the new engine and generator.

The master stateroom is aft with thwart-ship sleeping on a large double bed with new closed cell foam cushions with new fabric. There is wonderful locker and drawer space, great ventilation and light, good head room, and a private head with separate shower stall. Everybody is treated well aboard , accommodations are great.

The decks are in great condition, they were painted with non-skid paint and all hardware was rebedded. Night Music  has the optional tall toe rail, a nice stainless steel package, including a double bow anchor roller system. She also has the factory optional full length rub rail with strake rub plate.

All deck hardware and ports were removed, to prepare for painting the yacht, and they were rebedded using new hardware. (2000)

The hull was painted Royal Blue, in 2000, with Awlgrip paint and then clear coated with Awlgrip. The decks are light grey and cabin white. The mast and boom were also painted with Awlgrip.  The bottom had a vinylester barrier coat application and was then recently painted.

New Maxwell 3500 vertical windlass has 300 feet of new 3/8 ht chain which enters a redesigned chain locker with special drainage system. There is also an anchor well on deck. The bimini top has a full enclosure and screens. It attaches to the dodger, and both are on a one inch (1") stainless steel tubing frame with grab bars, for added safety. The bimini top provides good head room.

The exterior teak is in fine condition. It is done with ALLGUARD, a resin product that lasts; and the teak is all covered with blue canvas covers. The yacht has the Shade Tree System, a complete awning device to provide protection from the sun and rain, used one season. It is easy to install and easy to stow away.

This yacht comes with all manuals for items on the vessel including Stowawy mast, Monitor steering vane, all electronics, and boat blue prints.
