Overview

Major price reduction of $10,000 on 10/2/13!! .  New sales price of only $119,000.   Owner's health forces sale.  This is one of two Grand Banks 36 Sedans on the market today, and the other is priced for $59k more.  This asking price is firm at such a low number.  A sistership 1989 GB 36 Sedan sold for $148,000 in 2012, and she had over 4,200 hours on her 210 Cummins diesels.

"Bryans Way" got two brand new Cummins  220 hp diesels in 2004, and she is a very rare Grand Banks 36 Sedan to the brokerage market.   She has two staterooms.   The GB 36 Sedan offers a large, open salon which opens to a spacious aft cockpit.  This layout is perfect for entertaining and extended cruising.   This is the right vessel to cruise the East Coast, do the Great Loop, or for extending voyaging.   And the wide side decks with high handrails make going forward and aft safe and easy.  The large bimini over the cockpit offers protection from the sun and weather.

The lower helm has a wing door to stbd. for line handling and fresh air.  Visibility from the lower helm is very good in the GB 36 Sedan.  And in wet or cold or hot weather, the owners can close th wing door for protection from the elements.  The galley is adjacent to the lower helm, and handy for the helmsman and crew.

Moving forward is a guest stateroom to port with a single lower berth.   An upper pipe berth can be added above the single berth for long distance cruising and extra crew.  The private owners' stateroom is up forward with a  v-berth and filler cushion.   To starboard is a nice head compartment with vanity, marine head, and shower stall.

"Bryan's Way" has been well maintained by a knowledgable owner.  The brightwork is in excellent condition.  The flybridge bimini and enclosure are quite new, and by one of Annapolis' top canvas companies.  The Cummins diesels and other yacht systems are maintained to high standards.  And the GB 36 Sedan is waxed, washed and pampered by the owner each season.

The exterior brightwork  received 4 coats of new varnish in July 2013.

"Bryan's Way" was upgraded to brand new Cummins 220 h.p. diesels in 2004.   Engine hours since then are very low at only 650 hrs.  The twin Cummins offer excellent manueverability, and cruise speed is 10 to 11 knots.  Fuel use is only 7 gal/hr at 2000 to 2100 rpm. And one can throttle back from semi-displacement cruise speed to 8 knots for even better fuel economy and range.   Yet with the twin 220 Cummins, one can throttle up to 16 knots if you need to reach a harbor or entrance during daylight hours or to outrun bad weather.

"Bryan's Way"  just had her exterior brightwork professionally varnished, and owner is making some other upgrades to the interior.  This rare GB 36 is a must see for the buyer looking for the best Sedan on the market today.  Please call for an appointment or contact your broker.
