Accommodations Intro
The Grand Banks Eastbay 43 is arguably the most successful C. Raymond Hunt Associates designs ever built. This legendary design has created the synergy of design coupled with a yacht that is built to the highest standards offer by Grand Banks. Kelly's Catch is a timeless yacht with a strong following and a lasting value. Come see for yourself what makes this boat stand out from the others.
The Ride on Kelly's Catch is very stable because she is built on a Modified Deep Vee hull which delivers comfort in all weather. If you are looking for fast cruising combined with exceptional cruising style than this is your boat. Her hull and superstructure are stoutly built and will provide a great offshore experience.
She will grab lot of attention in any harbor due to her teak interior joinery and timeless design. The 43EX offers lots of space to entertain and cruise due to a generous cockpit, spacious helm deck and a well laid out galley below with two staterooms and a functional head with separate stall shower. Her versatility make her ideal for day boating, weekending, or extended cruising by a couple or family.
The Eastbay 43 EX is great for a family capable of sleeping 6 in two separate cabins and saloon settee that converts to a generous queen with room to dress. A teak and holly sole covers the entire lower section of the yacht, with numerous hatches for access below the floor. 6 Stainless opening ports and 3 overhead hatches all with screens

Forward Master Stateroom
The Vee Berth version will provide more room forward than you think. The custom mattress will allow for a good nights sleep with the ease of getting in and of of the bunk. The Vee can also convert by adding the filler piece for generous double. Two storage drawers beneath each berth, and cedar lined hanging lockers aft, port & starboard with a bureau inboard to starboard. Additional lockers outboard above the berths, 3 each side. Excellent ventilation provided by opening ports and an overhead hatch, all with screens

Guest Stateroom
If you are cruising with kids than you will love having this area located just aft to port with folding upper and lower berths. Bureau and teak framed mirror aft and inboard. Cedar lined hanging locker forward. Sliding door for privacy. Overhead hatch and opening ports with screens.

Head with room
Located to port opposite the Guest stateroom. Unique feature of double entry allowing direct access from the Master Stateroom. Separate stall shower w/teak grate & seat, 12 volt sump system, fresh water head, single lever sink, teak framed mirror.

Galley opens to the sloon
The galley is very functional and is located to port just down the steps from the helm deck and aft of the guest stateroom. It is U shaped with Corian counter tops trimmed with teak fiddle. Double stainless sink w/single lever faucet is forward with a mug/condiment rack and lockers above and drawers and locker below. A Princess 3 burner electric stove w/oven is outboard and aft is a Norcold refrigerator w/teak door below the counter, separate freezer box in the aft outboard corner, and Sharp Microwave oven above

Opposite the Galley to starboard, it consists of a very comfortable L shaped settee, that pulls out into a double berth, and a dinning table that folds up into the forward bulkhead enhancing the roominess of this space. Bookshelves and lockers are outboard

Helmdeck
The layout of the helm deck is in my opinion is the best with leather covered Stidd seats for both helmsman and passenger with an L shaped settee aft to port and straight settee opposite to starboard and storage locker aft. The helm console holds all the yachts electronics and engine controls while a nav area and locker is to starboard in front of the passenger. There is reverse cycle AC & heat for this area as desired. The entire sole area as well as the cockpit is covered in teak. Engine room access is through a large hatch in the sole. All varnished areas have canvas covers to protect the varnish when you are not using the boat. The helmdeck on the EB 43 EX is a great area that provives very nice user friendly space when you are out cruising the bay or in the ocean.

Cockpit
The 43's cockpit provides a safe and dry area that has aft facing seats for the best seat for relaxing when running or entertaining. Port and starboard steps to the side decks and a transom door to the teak swim platform. There are 3 hatches creating lazarette storage and access to the steering system and fuel tank. St. Croix removable davits are fitted to the aft coaming.
