Rick Casali

Rick Casali has been a yacht broker since 2000 when he retired from a 29-year career with Columbia Gas System where he headed up the Washington, DC office. Rick lived in Annapolis from 1974 until 2014, and now resides in Stuart, Florida and Wellesley Island, New York. Rick’s career in yachts began with Bristol Yacht Sales, and then he went on to head up the Gilman Yachts office in the mid-Atlantic. He came to North Point Yacht Sales in 2009 and sells both power and sail vessels. Rick prides himself in personal service for his clients, and enjoys many repeat customers and referrals. Rick Casali specializes in Down East-style vessels cruising sailboats as well as motor yachts and classic/antique listings. Rick and his family sailed their Tartan 37 “Tally Ho” up and down the East coast for 31 years and he crewed on the 68-foot ketch “Palawan” from Bermuda to Antiqua. Rick is prepared to go the extra mile to put deals together for his clients. He was also a dealer for Seaway Boats of Maine for about 5 years in the mid-Atlantic and in Florida, and helped design some new models. Additionally, Rick has a column entitled ‘Boats of the 1000 Islands’ published in the Thousand Island Sun newspaper and in Thousand Island Life magazine. He has written over 150 articles to date on sail and power yachts as well as commercial ships.
